Michael Falcone, President & Founder of Pearl Street Partners, LLC, is a strategic communications and public affairs professional with experience that spans private industry, nonprofits, and membership associations. He has built organizational capacity, including conceptualizing and developing new programs and highly effective teams from the ground up. With expertise in healthcare, life sciences, education and beyond, Michael can strategically elevate your narrative and drive outcomes that align to overall goals.
Previous to founding Pearl Street, Michael partnered with life sciences companies to develop narratives, shape stories, and amplify voices. He became a trusted advisor to executives around the world on their strategic communications plans, including handling media relations, milestone announcements, and identifying thought leadership opportunities.
Early in his career, Michael worked on political campaigns for candidates at the federal, state and municipal levels. He joined NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts as Political Director to rebuild the organization’s supportive majority in the Massachusetts legislature with comprehensive plans for communications and advocacy. This work was followed by years at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, including as the Director of the Public Affairs. As part of a strategic plan, Michael led efforts to more than double the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund’s budget and staff volume. He spearheaded public affairs strategies to secure passage of landmark legislation that would protect no-cost birth control, safeguard patient confidentiality, repeal archaic laws that could have unintended and detrimental impacts, and responded to the United States Supreme Court overturning the state’s buffer zone law with a constitutional statute enabling new security measures within weeks of the decision. As the first Chief of Government Affairs at the Massachusetts Charter Public School Association, Michael successfully focused on repositioning the charter public school community and securing proactive wins for the first time in decades.
Michael lives in Boston and remains involved in the South End community. He is a mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and advises numerous nonprofit organizations and elected office holders. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University.
